Insurance documents are long, written in legal language and decide what happens when something goes wrong. Expats in particular sign health, liability and household policies they can only half read. A full translation lets you check the exclusions and deadlines before a claim, not during one.
Translating an insurance policy
- The exclusions and the deductible are what matter in a claim. Read those sections of the translation first and compare them with the original wording.
- Policy schedules and general terms ("AVB", "Allgemeine Versicherungsbedingungen") are often separate files. Upload all of them together so nothing is left untranslated.
- Notice periods and claim deadlines are stated as numbers and dates, which are kept exactly as in the original.
Into English, from any language
You don't have to tell us the source language; it is detected per file, so a folder of German, French and Polish documents can all go into English in one upload.
How it works
- 1
Drop the file
Upload the original file. The source language is detected automatically, so you don't have to pick it.
- 2
Pick English
Choose English as the target. You can add more target languages and get one translated file per language.
- 3
Download the same file type
You get the same file type back with the layout kept, ready to open in the program you used before.
What happens to your file
noll is built for documents you would not paste into a free online translator. Files are processed in EU data centres, never used to train models and permanently deleted 30 minutes after the translation finishes, or as soon as you delete them yourself. There is no document history to leak later.
How your data is handledMachine translation, not a certified translation
noll gives you an accurate working translation fast. If an authority, court or university demands a certified or sworn translation, you still need a sworn human translator; our output is a good draft to hand them.
Pricing
Translation is billed by the page. See the current plans before you upload a large batch.

Can I use the translation to make a claim?
File the claim on the basis of the original policy; the insurer only works with that version. The translation tells you what to claim and which deadlines apply.
My policy has 60 pages of terms. Is that a problem?
No. Upload the policy and all term documents together, up to 10 files of 40 MB each. You pay per page translated.
Which version counts if they differ?
The original. If a translated clause decides whether you take out the policy, ask the insurer or a broker to confirm it.
Policies contain health and personal data. Is that safe?
Files are processed in EU data centres, never used for training and deleted 30 minutes after translation.
